The Official Newspaper of France published two documents
concerning:
- the organization of the referendum of May 29th:
- the referendum campaign:
Portugal
The referendum on the European Constitution will be held
in October 2005.
France
Concerning the diffusion of information on the European
Constitution, two million free copies of the European
Constitution, published in 28 pages in the newspaper
L’Hémicycle, are at the French population’s disposal
in 14,000 post offices.
Belgium
The Belgian Parliament has paved the way for the
ratification of the European Constitution in May 2005.
France
According to a CSA poll, published on Friday in Le
Parisien, 51% of the French population will vote
‘no’ in the referendum on the European Constitution to
be held on May 29th while 49% will vote in favor of the
Constitution.
The
European Parliament
The budgetary committee has decided on the budget to
finance the information campaign on the European
Constitution. This budget will rise to 6.28 million
euros.
France
According to a TNS-Sofres/Unilog poll that Le Monde
and LCI have made public on Tuesday, the ‘yes’ side will
obtain 56% of votes in the referendum on the European
Constitution against 44% of votes for the ‘no’ side.
Czech
Republic
The Czech government has decided to lead the campaign
for the adoption of the European Constitution instead of
assigning the task to the Department of Foreign
Affairs.
